On Monday we had a horrific wind storm.  Trees down everywhere.  One man lost his life when a tree fell over on his truck.  I remember a woman and her child being killed the same way a few years ago.   It’s a bad combination when you’ve had a lot of rain and the ground is good and wet, then the wind moves in.

So I saw my neighbor at the Hobby Lobby the other day.  She informed me they lost their tree in which they had the coolest swing hanging from.   I only just discovered this tree a few weeks ago and was looking forward to spending a lot of time there in the warmer months.

So long tree.  You’ve given great joy to many children and adults.  We’ll miss you!
